DEAN C. BRICK, MD
Dr. Brick received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School where he was elected to the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his ophthalmic residency at Medical College of Virginia. After residency he completed a 2 year fellowship at the Proctor Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology and one additional year at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami.
Following his training, he worked as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona, was director of the residency program, and Chief of Ophthalmology at the VA hospital in Tucson. He entered private practice in Tucson in 1983, but has remained affiliated with the University of Arizona.
Dr. Brick is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is past president of the Arizona Ophthalmological Society and Tucson Ophthalmological Society. He served on the board of directors and several committees of the national ophthalmic insurance carrier OMIC for 9 years. He has been elected by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America for many years.
Dr. Brick primarily performs adult ophthalmological exams.
